Rave: I love Roots. And not the 1977 movie. Roots is a Canadian clothing company, that I discovered while reading stuff about Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir (ice dance Gold Medalists that I've mentioned before). Roots has a sponsorship deal with them, so I went and checked out their stuff, and ended up buying a Canada sweatshirt.
Mr. V has always rambled on and on about how much he loves Canada, but I never gave it much thought. I had been to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls when I was little, but that was all I knew. Since living close to Vancouver though, and spending a good deal of time up there, and visiting the Canadian Rockies, I've come to love it there too. So I wanted a Canada sweatshirt. It arrived in the mail yesterday and it is by far the most comfortable sweatshirt I've ever worn. It seems that Canadians LOVE Roots, and I can see why. One piece of clothing has made me a fan.

Gotta love the military and their timelines (or lack thereof!)
lol Roots was a book first! You should read it!
Yeah I know it was a book. I actually have the book. I've just never read it. I've seen the movie though so I didn't even think to mention the book :-).
